A Frozen Lake - Dragging Carcass

You grasp the deer by the back legs and instantly feel resistance. Flesh and fur have frozen to the lake. You give a long hard pull and it suddenly tears free. Your feet slip and you fall. Before you can catch your breath the wolves are upon you. Already on your back, you can do little to fight off the ravenous beasts.
